It is our intention to run a fun, safe, and competitive competition that is enjoyable for all involved

  • Out of respect for our professional photographers we will not allow any other professional cameras in the event space at any time. This includes, but is not limited to DSLR cameras or cameras with detachable lenses. Smart phones are okay!

Photos will be available for individual purchase after the competition for $5 each. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the photographers.

  • the event staff is not responsible for any of the following:

    • telling you what the event is (reps, movements or structure) - Watch the videos, read the standards, and come prepared to hit the floor

    • telling you the movement standards - Watch the videos, read the event description, and come prepared to hit the floor

    • helping you with your aches and pains - we do not have dedicated physiotherapists for your pre-existing injuries or muscle soreness. Our medical staff is only there to assist for acute injury sustained during an event, for first-aid, and in the event of an emergency.

    • making sure you’re on time - we run a tight ship! We’re dedicated to being integral with your heat times so it is your job to be ready 15 minutes ahead of your head time to be corraled. Failure to do so may results in not participating in the event

    • counting your reps - judges are there to make sure you do all the reps to our standards. It is your responsibility to count your reps to know when you are done. If there is a disagreement between the judge and the athlete, the judge’s final call will stand.

  • we have an extremely high degree of respect for our judges. They are all volunteers and are doing their best. We give them all the information, training, and standards we can but they are human and it is possible they make an error.

in such an event, if an error occurs, the judges call will stand. It is up to the judges discretion if they choose to involve the head judge in which time the head judge can determine the most appropriate course of action.

video review of any kind will not be accepted.

  • once you’ve signed off on your score, it is final.

before signing off, It is the athletes responsibility to:
